Empowering the Future: Free Financial Literacy and Civics Courses at Arizona College Prep Middle School

Education shapes the foundation for a successful life, yet many students miss out on learning essential skills that prepare them for real-world challenges.


This spring, We partnered with Investing Insights to deliver financial literacy and civics courses at Arizona College Preparatory Middle School. This initiative was designed to equip students with vital knowledge that will benefit them both now and in the future. The event was a tremendous success, and we are to the value of education. We are excited to continue making a positive impact our community!

















What Our Courses Covered


The partnership with Investing Insights brings a well-rounded program that covers key topics in both financial literacy and civics. Students will explore:


Civics/Governance-Based Courses

1. Intro to Civics (Adulting 101 Course)

2. Everyday Rights (Basic Constitution Overview, First Amendment + Fourth Amendment Applications)

3. Intro to Comparative Politics (Based on the AP Comparative Government Course): Analysis of 6 Countries (Iran, China, Russia, Britain, Mexico, and Nigeria) and their political systems

4. Current Events


Personal Finance/Economics

1. Intro to Investing (Level 1 Finance: Budgeting, Credit, Loans, etc.)

2. Stocks & Stock Analysis

3. Fixed Income & Creating a Portfolio (If time permits)

4. Basics of Economics


The courses use interactive lessons, real-life examples, and practical exercises to make learning engaging and relevant.
















Looking Ahead


As these courses take root, the hope is to expand the program and inspire other schools to follow suit. Students who gain these skills early will be better equipped to navigate financial challenges and contribute meaningfully to society.
